solNew Delhi, Wednesday, September 21– Last Rites of Uri martyrs left everybody in tears on Tuesday as soon as mortal remains reached their hometowns. Bodies of martyrs were draped in tricolour.

Soldiers’ supreme sacrifice made their families proud in spite of knowing the fact that the void created due to their untimely departure can never be filled.

It was surprising to note that three daughters of Naik SK Vidarthi of village Boknari, Gaya in Bihar took their school exams while the family waited for coffin of the martyred soldier. Teachers were also in a state of surprise as they couldn’t imagine their presence in the school when a key family member lost his life.

The school staff and children were all praise for spirit of Vidarthi’s daughters. India salutes these daughters for whom completing their father’s wish, which was to see them doing well in studies, was a prime task over any other thing.
